What is in this collection

  • Banarasi brocade bottoms – green sharara, black skirt; wear with a plain silk or cotton-silk blouse.
  • Brocade kurta and blouse – off-white angrakha kurta with tassel, pink brocade saree blouse.
  • Chanderi brocade dupattas – salmon, charcoal-rust, ink black, rust bandhani; over plain kurtas and sets for festive days.

Wearing brocade

Brocade carries its own pattern, so pair it with solids: the green sharara under an off-white kurta, the black skirt with a plain raw-silk blouse, a Chanderi brocade dupatta over a solid kurta set. Match the zari – gold or silver – to your jewellery and to brocade mules or block heels. Dry clean only; store folded in muslin, zari side in.

FAQs

What is the difference between Banarasi and Chanderi brocade?

Banarasi brocade is heavier silk with dense zari from Varanasi; Chanderi is a lighter, sheerer silk-cotton weave from Madhya Pradesh with zari butis – used here for dupattas.

Is the zari real gold?

No – metallic zari thread, which keeps the pieces affordable and light.

Can I return brocade pieces?

Yes, unused with tags within the return window; see the returns policy.
