Cotton Clothing for Women – Kurtas, Dresses, Sets, Palazzos & More
Every cotton piece Tjori makes for women, 1,292 of them: Kalamkari and pintuck cotton kurtas, cotton dresses, kurta sets, cotton slub culottes and palazzos, khadi and cotton jumpsuits, tops, blouses and cotton linen sarees. Sizes XS–XXXL.
The cottons we use
- Cotton cambric – fine, smooth, takes Kalamkari and block prints crisply; kurtas and dresses.
- Cotton slub – textured, a little heavier, resists creasing; culottes, pants, dresses.
- Khadi – hand-spun, hand-woven, breathes best in heat; flared dresses and jumpsuits.
- Mulmul – the lightest muslin; kurtas, kaftans and babywear.
- Kota Doria – sheer checked weave; kurtas, dupattas, sarees.
- Cotton linen – crisp blend; sarees and pants. See Linen.
Why cotton
It breathes, it washes, it takes natural dyes – which is why every craft Tjori works with (Kalamkari, hand block, Ajrakh, Ikkat) is on cotton. Care is the same across the range: cold gentle wash, inside out, dry in shade, iron on medium while slightly damp. Cotton has little stretch, so size up if between sizes (size chart).
FAQs
Is it 100% cotton?
Cambric, slub, khadi, mulmul and Kota pieces are; cotton linen and cotton silk are blends and say so on the product page.
Will cotton shrink?
Slightly on the first wash, especially khadi and mulmul; buy the larger size if between sizes and wash cold.
Can I return cotton clothing?
Yes, unused with tags within the return window; see the returns policy.
